Hiking & Yoga go together like peas and carrots A morning loop hike to Chataqua Peak Junction (4.5km) and then a Yoga class. We will meet at the Halls Gap Botanic Gardens car park at 730AM (Feb to avoid the hot weather). We will be ready to go with good shoes, water bottle, sun stuff and Yoga Mat. Leave the mats at the gardens and head off. This will not be a dawdle, but hope to keep a steady pace with few stops (if I can do this you can too). We will end at the Gardens, roll out the mat for a good, calming Yoga stretch. For me this combination helps lifts my mood (and heart rate). The track offers a little bit of everything but still shorter, achievable and easy to access. I feel energised, grounded and refreshed after this combo, so it would be great to share this with some friends. (I am also training to go to Nepal so looking to gain some aerobic fitness). Optional (not included)l: After this we could head over to Livefast café for a well earnt cuppa and yummy breakfast. Details: Meet 730AM at Botanic Garden Car Park Hike 4.5km (allow 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins) options: choose to do a shorter walk to Venus Baths or even hike in for a time and then return or jog) Yoga Class 845AM at Botanic Gardens approx. 45mins (class outdoors, if the weather is too wet, I will run the class inside the Rec Reserve) End approx.: 945AM Cost $20 (or by donation for the yoga class would be greatly appreciated). Note: we will NOT be going to do the rock scramble to Chataqua Peak, just to the junction, following signs to Halls Gap Safety and wellbeing - with all outdoor activity comes risk, the trail varies from flat sand to rocky steps and steep sections (short and sweet). Please be aware of your own limitations and be responsible for your self. In the case of an accident on the trail please make sure your ambulance cover is valid. I am trained in Level 2 Frist Aid and will have a first aid kit available and mobile phone for emergency contact, I also have Tour Operators Permit the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd). Weather: if I consider the weather too hot, windy and definitely on a code red day the event will be cancelled (full refund of course).
I totally understand that things happen so please contact host directly to reschedule for a class, retreat or massage. BUT no refund available if cancelled within 48 hours of Class, Retreat or Massage and for no shows on the the day. If a replacement can be found or someone is on the waitlist or cancellation is due to Covid-19 illness a refund can be arranged less a small administration fee. Thank you
